The Nonprofit SIG will meet on December 4th from 8-9:30am at Skyland Trail. The topic will be “High Commitment Leadership in Times of Economic Crisis.” This will be a roundtable discussion based on two Harvard Business Review articles addressing challenges facing nonprofits in difficult economic times. It is open to all members of the HBS community interested in nonprofit leadership. The purpose of the SIG is to provide a forum for nonprofit leaders to engage in dialogue on topical issues, to build a community among SPNM (Strategic Perspectives For Nonprofit Management) and PMNO (Performance Measurement for Nonprofit Organizations) scholars, to build relationships between the SPNM and PMNO Scholars and the broader HBS Alumni community, and to foster two way learning for nonprofit and for profit leaders who are seeking to make a difference.
Please RSVP to Christina Lennon at clennon@lionslighthouse.org. We will then send you links to the two articles.
Location: Skyland Trail, 1961 North Druid Hills Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329
